Indian Flag

Indian Flag - Tri Color Rangoli
THE NATIONAL FLAG OF INDIA is in tricolour ( TIRANGA) of deep saffron (Kesari) at the top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom.
The saffron color in the flag stands for courage, sacrifice and the spirit of renunciation; the white, for purity and truth; and the green for faith and fertility.
On the occasion of this historic day for our Nation I created our National Flag with Tri- Color Rangoli.

Makar Sankrant Creativity

Makar Sankrant Creativity

In states like Maharashtra, which are located in the western part of India, people exchange tilgul (made from sesame seeds and jaggery). While exchanging tilgul as tokens of goodwill, people greet each other saying, 'Tilgul ghya, goad goad bola (Accept these tilguls and speak sweet words).'This custom represents the thought that we should forget the past ill-feelings and hostilities, resolve to speak sweetly and remain friends.Married women folk apply haldi kumkum on each other's foreheads. During this period, women specially wear black. So some ideas to celebrate Sankrant in a creative way 1. You can give Tilgul in a decorative box:
